A word from Monty Hunt......
Senior Adults are very important people (VIPs). Since an early age, they have had a great influence on my life. Senior Adults are excellent teachers and leaders because they have had years of experience. I want to encourage you to be active in the different aspects of the church, especially Sunday School. We have outstanding teachers and department directors. You will miss a blessing if you are not involved. Being part of a Sunday School class gives you a support system of brothers and sisters in Christ who are there for you when you need them. Whether it be an exciting time in your life that you want to share with someone or a hard time such as when you experience the loss of a loved one. The friendships you develop and the lessons you learn, bring you closer to Christ.
Senior adults are excellent role models for all ages. Children, singles, college students and younger adults can all look up to Senior Adults for guidance. So again I encourage you to get involved. There are many ways to get involved in the church and the Senior Adult ministry. We will be mailing this newsletter every couple of months. Read through it and find a way to get involved. To be able to minister to each other in our congregation and those in our local area, especially to those that don’t know Christ, we need you to be involved. I would like to thank you for letting me be your minister. You continue to be a blessing to me and my family.
