Linnie Batson was admitted to St Joseph Hospital last evening with chest pain & shortness of breath. She will have a heart cath later this afternoon. She is in the CCU (B-12).

Please pray for Addison Grace Martin, 3-day-old baby girl of our nephew, Rusty, and his wife, Kelly.  Addison Grace was born about 4 weeks prematurely, and suffered some kind of seizures shortly after birth.  She was life-flighted to Presbyterian-Dallas Hospital, where she is in intensive care.  Details are sketchy, but please pray for this baby girl to thrive.  She is the first grandchild for Carson's sister, Annice, and her husband, John Martin. 
 
2)  Also, please pray for my brother, Carroll Nichols.  He was in a T-Bone collision on his way to work yesterday morning.  (A car which had pulled over to the shoulder attempted a u-turn just as he approached the vehicle.  Jaws-of-Life was required to remove the other driver from his vehicle.  We think he is in stable condition.  Carroll sustained injuries to his sternum and his right knee.  He is in surgery today to fix the knee.

This is a request for your prayers in behalf of our daughter, Kay Sanders.  She was just diagnosed with esophageal cancer.  Her treatment will be decided after a PET scan next Saturday.  Her three sons, Benjamin, Barron, Jordan, and husband Ben also need your prayers (as do her mom and dad, Pat and Tom).   Our God is an awesome God and her life is in His hands.

Update

Just got word from Kay's PET scan.  The cancer was confined in her esophagus and had not spread to her lymph nodes.  She will have a consultation with M.D. Anderson in the next week or two to finalize her course of treatment.  She will probably start chemo and radiation in the next week.

Please pray for our daughter and son-in-law, Ashley and John Peck. 

He was just notified that his job will be ending very soon. 

Please pray that God will show them how they should go and give them the discernment to recognize His answers to these prayers. 

Make this whole episode in their young lives a strengthening of faith.
