Cindy Byers

Cindy Byers became a Christian at the age of 10. She has always loved coming to church and serving others. Cindy came to Bryan/College Station via Big Spring, TX, where she grew up, and Abilene, TX, where she attended college (Hardin-Simmons University). Cindy married John (after they met at Central) in 1999. They have two beautiful and full of life daughters, ages 4 and 2! Before her girls came along, Cindy taught school. Now she is a stay at home mom who tutors on the side! Cindy became a member of the Women's Ministry Team at Central in January 2005 and enjoys being coordinator of the Women's Prayer Team and helping with conferences/retreats. Cindy loves spending time with her family, scrap booking, and reading!

Carla was raised in Deer Park, TX and accepted Christ at age 8. She graduated from Texas A&M in 1993. She married her husband Scott in August of 1994 and they now have two children Mindy-10 and Abby-7. Carla and Scott have been members at Central for 10 years. She is involved in ladies Inneract, Advent by Candlelight, and is the coordinator for Upward Cheerleading. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and scrapbooking. She loves the church and the people in it and has been truly blessed here at Central watching her family grow in the Lord.

Jan Carlton

Jan Carlton recently joined the Women's Ministry Team with a commitment to discipleship, strong organization skills, and a heart for encouraging women. Jan lived all over the world as a child and later during husband PK's Air Force medical career. Jan homeschooled during the family's worldwide adventures. Her four children are now grown: two sons serving as military officers and two daughters involved in law and policy. Jan enjoys God's beautiful Creation in her role as a Master Gardener. She also enjoys outdoor photography, reading, discipling women, finding analogies in the Bible, healthy cooking, family, friends, and now grandmothering!

Shannon McMath is married to Mark and they have two children, Katie- 9, and Mark- 5. They have been members of Central for 13 years, and have truly enjoyed watching the church change and grow in the many areas of ministry. Shannon currently coordinates Inneract, one of the women's bible studies offered at Central, and is a class coordinator with Mark for their Sunday school class. She enjoys volunteering at her children's school, spending time with her family and friends, and scrapbooking if the time ever arises. Shannon's life verse is Jeremiah 29:11-13 in which God promises a hope and a future to everyone when they truly seek Him, and she loves helping others experience the truth of this verse in their own lives.

Sue Seale met Jesus Christ at the age of 9 in a small country church. At this little country church she saw the servant's heart modeled by various family members including her parents.The servant's heart steered Sue to her profession of teaching.Sue graduated from Texas A&M and practiced her God-given talent of teaching in Bryan ISD for 28 years. Sue has also been a member of Central for the past 28 years. Sue is married to Ed Seale and together they have two sons, two daughters, and six grandchildren. Since retiring from teaching Sue has used her desire to serve here at Central Baptist Church in the women's ministry.Sue has been on the Women's Ministry team since 2004 and has served as the coordinator since November of 2006. Sue has been gifted in areas of organization, leadership, and hospitality. She enjoys reading, gardening, antiquing, water aerobics and spending time with her family and friends.
