Adult Education - New Members

New Members

To join Central, simply walk down at the end of any Sunday service.  From there you will be taken to a 10-minute Member Orientation where you will be given information about the New Member Workshop and asked to fill out a short form.  Sometime during that week, a current church member called an Encourager will contact you to meet with you sometime before the workshop.  This is a great opportunity for you to get to know someone in the church, especially if you are new to the area.  They will also give you a workbook and explain to you a portion to fill out before the workshop.  We realize that Central Baptist is a large church and we want our New Members to feel at home and to receive personal attention.

The New Member Workshop is helpful for all New Members in understanding church membership and how to find their place at Central. The regular Wednesday meal is free to all new members on the evening of their workshop.  Pastor Chris leads this workshop, and the staff also attends so that new members have an opportunity to meet them and hear about their ministries.  Workshops are offered every other month except in the summer.  The next New Member Workshop will be on Wednesday, July 15th after the evening service in Fellowship B.

Please contact Mandy Kullman at 776-9977 ext. 205 or mkullman@cbcbryan.org to RSVP for the New Member Workshop to reserve childcare or to ask any questions about joining Central Baptist Church.
